Privacy and cookies

We collect as little as we can: the details you choose to send us when you ask about a demo, and the basic logs every web server keeps. This website sets no cookies and does not track you.

What we collect and why

Demo enquiries

Your name, company, email address, phone number, the type of space you clean, the robot you are interested in and anything you add in the message box. The website does not store these. When you press send, the form opens your own email app with your enquiry written out, and you send it to us from there. We use it to reply, arrange a demo and quote for you.

Emails and calls

If you email or phone us directly, we keep what you tell us so we can deal with your query.

Server logs

Like every website, our server records each request it receives: your IP address, the date and time, the page or file requested and your browser type. We use these only to keep the site secure and working, and they are deleted automatically after 14 days.

We do not use your details for newsletters or marketing mailings, we do not sell them, and we do not use them for automated decision-making or profiling.

Our legal basis

• Taking steps before a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)): answering your enquiry, arranging a demo and preparing a quote at your request.
• Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)): keeping a record of our correspondence with business customers, and keeping the website secure through server logs.
• Legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)): keeping business records that tax and company law require once you become a customer.

Who we share it with

Your details are seen by the i‑cobots team and, where it helps with your enquiry, by colleagues in the ICE Customised Cleaning Solutions group. We also rely on a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf under written contracts:

• Microsoft, which provides our email (Microsoft 365).
• Our web hosting and IT support provider. The website runs on Amazon Web Services servers in Ireland.

Microsoft may process some data outside the European Economic Area. Where it does, the transfer is protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. We will only share your data with anyone else where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

If your enquiry does not lead to us working together, we delete it within two years of our last contact. If you become a customer, we keep your records for as long as we work together and then for as long as tax and company law require, generally six years. Server logs are deleted after 14 days.

Your rights

Under data protection law you can ask us to:

• give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
• correct anything that is wrong or incomplete;
• delete your data;
• restrict how we use it, or object to our using it;
• give you your data in a portable format.

Email hello@i-cobots.ie and we will reply within one month. There is no charge. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission, 21 Fitzwilliam Square South, Dublin 2, D02 RD28. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.

Cookies

This website does not set any cookies and does not store anything in your browser. It has no analytics, advertising or tracking pixels, and no social media widgets. Our fonts, images and videos are served from our own server, so visiting the site does not send your data to anyone else. That is why you will not see a cookie banner here.

The site links to other websites, such as iceclean.ie. Those sites have their own privacy and cookie policies.

Security

The site is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to our email and systems is limited to the people who need it.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we use personal data we will update this page and the date at the top.
